Honda has contributed $25,000 to the 人兽性交 Foundation toward the College鈥檚 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) aimed at benefiting current and future students.
人兽性交鈥檚 QEP is a required tenet of its accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The QEP is a broad-based self-study and discovery process to identify and become involved in a plan that will enhance overall student learning and learning environment at the institution. The College鈥檚 QEP is a five-year project that is expected to become part of the college鈥檚 culture.
ACC selected as its QEP this year: Get on the RAFT 鈥� Rise and Flourish Together. RAFT focuses on improving curriculum and student success through enhanced and integrated mental health awareness, support, and services. The initiative seeks to meet students where they are, and show them they are part of a community eager to support them.
The Honda contribution will help provide resources for several community needs under ACC鈥檚 RAFT program:
- Provide 鈥淔irst Aid鈥� education and training for faculty, staff, and students. Training will encompass mental health awareness, recognition of warning signs, appropriate responses and campus referral process.
- Launch awareness campaign to help destigmatize mental health and publicize availability of campus support services.
- Promote mental health strategies through student programs and activities.
ACC鈥檚 mascot, Haw the Otter, and its real-life counterparts in nature, was the inspiration for the Quality Enhancement Plan鈥檚 RAFT theme. Otters are known to lock paws and rest in a self-made 鈥渞aft鈥� as they drift down a river.
