Graham, N.C. - 人兽性交鈥檚 Mock Trial Team once again proved its excellence on the national stage, earning second place at the Third Annual National Community College Clash, held December 21-22.
Competing against top community college programs from across the country, ACC students demonstrated exceptional legal reasoning, advocacy skills and teamwork throughout the two-day tournament.
Adding to the team鈥檚 success, Hayden King was recognized as the tournament鈥檚 Outstanding Attorney, an honor awarded to competitors who exhibit superior courtroom presence, argumentation, and professionalism.
While the team entered the competition hoping to secure a historic third consecutive win, there was pride in seeing Irvine Valley Community College claim the top spot. 鈥淭hough our students would have liked to repeat as three-time champions, I was pleased to see Irvine Valley Community College take the win鈥�, said Dr. Kevin Sargent, mock trial team coach. 鈥淪upporting the growth of newer programs ensures the future of this activity at the community college level.
ACC鈥檚 mock trial season is far from over. In February, 人兽性交鈥檚 Mock Trial Team will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, to compete once again鈥攖his time as the only community college in the nation participating in the four-year college version of mock trial competition.
