is a collaborative effort, first launched in 2021 by the to address the state鈥檚 critical workforce needs while simultaneously improving future economic opportunities and the quality of life for more adults, families, and communities across the state.

鈥淲e are proud to be part of this initiative, which we feel aligns with the values of 人兽性交 and our long-standing commitment to empowering our community through education,鈥 said 人兽性交 President Dr. Ken Ingle. 鈥淏y expanding access for adults to return to college, we are supporting lifelong learning and helping individuals gain the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world.鈥

The first twenty-four community colleges involved in NC Reconnect have catalyzed positive change across the state, enrolling more than 3,000 additional adult learners in North Carolina community colleges in just the past four years.

The potential is even greater with the state鈥檚 new. Next NC is a financial aid program that helps most North Carolinians from households making $80,000 or less pursue higher education by fully covering tuition and fees at any of the state鈥檚 community colleges.

The upcoming Better Skills, Better Jobs campaign will include direct outreach and support to reconnect with adults in the area who previously earned some college credits, but left without completing a degree or certification; special events and presentations on campus and in the community to showcase the college鈥檚 many programs and opportunities; and a robust digital marketing and advertising campaign designed to reach and connect with more adult learners.

鈥嬧赌 is thrilled to get to work with 人兽性交 and community college leaders statewide who are advancing access and success for adult learners,鈥 shares MC Belk Pilon, President and Board Chair of the John M. Belk Endowment.

鈥淭oday鈥檚 adults are navigating a rapidly changing economy and workforce. By supporting education that leads to better skills and better jobs, we are helping individuals build momentum in their lives while ensuring North Carolina has the talent needed to thrive now and in the future.鈥
