MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE  |  DIPLOMA  |  CERTIFICATE

Mechatronics Engineering Technology (MET) covers a broad career field in which mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering intersect. Students receive extensive hands-on experience with state-of-the-art training stations that include: was the mechanical/electrical training system with pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, conveyor systems, and robotic arms.

 

The Mechatronics Engineering Technology curriculum is designed to prepare students to use basic engineering principles and technical skills in developing and testing automated, servo-mechanical, and other electromechanical systems. This includes instruction in prototype testing, manufacturing and operational testing, systems analysis and maintenance procedures.
